While the details of St. Valentine's life are few and what is told is vague, we don't really know who the real St. Valentine is or what he did. But what we do know, is that he was a martyr for the Christian faith. How did this become the Hallmark and chocolate monstrosity that it is today? Well, I'm not sure. And neither are many. I would guess 95% of American's don't recognize that their is such a man as St. Valentine, and he is not baby is a diaper flying around shooting people with arrows from his heart shaped quiver.
I don't know how to change this, or what to do with it for that matter. But, I for one, won't be looking at V-day the same again.
